- Background: The purpose of this acquisition is to perform recurring inspection and certification of cranes at USAG (Vicenza). Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the annual inspection and certification of cranes Period of Performance: The Government anticipates awarding a base year plus four option years contract. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1. Certificato di Iscrizione alla Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: inspection and certification of cranes. 2. SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website (https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number (obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable on https://www.siac.difesa.it/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=NCAGE). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. The capability statement package must be sent by email to Francesca Candia at francesca.candia.ln@mail.mil and Dee Cavanaugh at deloris.s.cavanaugh.civ@mail.mil.
