- This sources sought synopsis is being issued to provide other potential offerors the opportunity to provide capability statements. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division intends to award a sole source contract to Symvionics, Inc based on the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 justification for only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for IADS software maintenance needed to support our Warfare Analysis tasking requirements. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 07/22/2016. DISCLAIMER THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES This requirement is for a 36-month maintenance for the site license of the IADS software package. Only Symvionics, the original equipment manufacturer, can warranty and maintain their software. This software is solely made and maintained by Symvionics, and the software is required to support operations. SUBMISSION DETAILS Interested businesses shall submit written responses by e-mail in Microsoft Word format to william.s.glenn@navy.mil. Please submit all questions to Billy Glenn at william.s.glenn@navy.mil or (760) 939-3772. E-mail responses shall be received at this office no later than 3:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time on 07/22/2016 and reference this synopsis number on both the e-mail subject line as well as on all enclosed documents. Information and materials submitted in response to this request WILL NOT be returned. Classified material SHALL NOT be submitted.
