Description
The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate is requesting information on behalf of the National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) to provide new audio visual equipment and installation for three rooms as per this Request for Information (RFI): 1. Two (2) new 50 inch High Definition monitors including installation and removal of current monitors for Room 927 - Secure Video Teleconferencing and Audio Visual Display System 2. A Digital Audio Visual System to be installed in the NUSTL Empire Room -room 916. This installation requires replacing all analog devices and wiring which operates current audio visual system to high definition digital system with multi-computer connections options, such as High Definition Multi Interface (HDMI), Video Graphics Array (VGA), and/or necessary upgrades to change this analog audio visual system to a digital audio visual system. 3. NUSTL requires a new Audio Visual System to be installed in the First Responder Training room number 906. No audio visual system currently exists in the room. The new audio visual system must include High Definition Multi Interface (HDMI) and Video Graphics Array (VGA). This RFI requires interested vendors to attend a mandatory site visit to 201 Varick St. New York, NY 10014 to see and tour the three (3) rooms to better understand the Government's needs. The contractor will be required to make recommendations for equipment and required installation to submit a quote. This requirement is a result of newly constructed rooms. Special Instructions: 1. Both, full-time and part-time personnel performing under this contract must be verified as US citizens and will be escorted at all times by DHS personnel during the site visit and installation. To gain access to the Varick Federal Office Building where NUSTL is a tenant agency, the contractor must pre-register by providing the first and last name and the last 4 numbers of the individual's Social Security Number to the DHS POC for this RFI by July 20, 2016. There is a limit of two (2) representatives per company. 2. The site visit will take place on July 27, 2016 at 201 Varick St., New York, NY 10014. Sign-in will be between 8:30 - 9:30 am. The site visit will begin at 9:30. This action would be issued as a firm-fixed-price delivery order (DO). Please respond to Contract Specialist, Thomas Zaboski, via email at: tom.zaboski@dhs.gov or telephone (202) 254-8898 by July 15, 2016 at 2 PM EST with questions or to express an interest to attend the site visit.
