Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Sun Nuclear Corporation, 425 Pineda Ct STE A, Melbourne, FL 32940. The period of performance for contract award will be from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. This requirement is to provide maintenance/repairs to a Sun Nuclear Rotational Delivery QA and Dosimetry System consisting of ArcCHECK standard maintenance, MapCHECK 2 software and hardware maintenance, and TomoDOSE extended warranty (standard maintenance). This coverage shall include full support for all components and software, excluding 3DVH located at Stratton Albany VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, New York 12208-3410. Contractor shall provide all supervision, tools, equipment, labor, and materials necessary to provide full software maintenance and on-call emergency support services, including software upgrades, service bulletins and alerts, telephone, email, and online support. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by July 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
