- The U. S. Army Contracting Command - Warren, (ACC-WRN) has a requirement for the procurement of specific panels to replace obsolete panels within the Lower Limb Energy Attenuating (LLEA) Kits. These panels are to reset previously purchased kits to the most current configuration supporting the Double V Hull (DVH) configurations for the Stryker Family of Vehicles (FOV). Quantity 237 each. ACC-WRN intends to award this action on a sole source basis to General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), LLC or its approved suppliers under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed acquisition will be a firm-fixed-price contract, and will be solicited under W56HZV-16-R-0175. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all responsible sources that can meet the vehicle requirements and period of performance requirements of this procurement may provide a written capability statement and proposal to the Contracting Officer for consideration, no later than 15 days after the published date of this announcement. The solicitation for this action is expected to be released in July 2016. Contract Award is expected to occur no later than September 2016. This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis (summary). The solicitation pertaining to this notice will not be available until approximately 15 days from the date of this notice. Contractors should not call the buyer seeking the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
