- 1.SOURCES SOUGHT #VA701-16-N-0129 The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources that can provide replacement furniture for the public areas of the Menlo Park Domiciliary in Menlo Park, CA. Replacement furniture consists of side tables, coffee tables, and upholstered seating. The scope of work will also include removal of the existing furniture that is being replaced. Descriptions of the items and salient characteristics are listed below. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. A determination on the contract type, mechanism for procuring the services, and possible set-aside will not be made by the Government until after the market research has been completed. No proposals are being requested or accepted under this synopsis. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 337127 - Institutional Furniture Manufacturing - and the size standard is 500 employees. 2.REQUIRED ITEMS AND SERVICES 2.1The Domiciliary service treats homeless and substance-dependent veterans with the goal of returning the veterans to optimal independent living. The Menlo Park Domiciliary is a residential treatment facility for the veterans during their treatment. The seating and tables in the public areas are well worn, stained, broken, and need to be replaced. The facility is heavily used by the residents and staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
