- Sole Source Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Solar Turbines Incorporated for the following supplies: 1. Manifold, liquid, P/N 902291C91, QTY 1 EA 2. Manifold, match set, P/N 905452C1, Qty 1 EA 3. CS-Washer, laminated, P/N 905475C1, QTY 1 PK 4. Washer, laminated, P/N 905491C1, Qty 1 PK Solar Turbines Incorporated is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for these parts. The original manufacturer of the referenced items and maintains the proprietary rights, which makes them the sole source. The OEM has limited the availability of proprietary information. Required Delivery Date: 22 JUL 2016 This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC MORGENTHAU. Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. NAICS Code # 333611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 PST 18 JUL 2016 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Kristen.J.Thomas@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: Solar Turbines Incorporated Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Solar Turbines Incorporated.
