Justification and Approval for: Other than Full and Open Competition The VA Manchester Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302?1 ?? Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements with 2020 for Interior Design Graphic Software for the VISN 1 Stations. STATEMENT OF WORK VAMC White River Junction VISN 1 Interior Design Program CAP 2020 Software for Interior Designers May 3, 2016 Description: The White River VA Medical Center needs to purchase space planning and specification software for the Interior Design program. CAP2020 software is Auto CAD-based professional space planning and specification software that allows the user to design business workspace with accurate furniture specifications. The software consists of two base applications 2020CAP and 2020 Worksheet. The former is a space planning application, the latter software is used for product specification, pricing and creating IGC. The software is supported by a database of furniture manufactures catalogs and supports the use of Auto CAD symbols, allowing the creations of itemized furniture budgets and accurate inventory lists for use in purchasing and activations. SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractor will be required to purchase and ship the software to each medical center in the VISN for use by the Interior Designer. The manufacture must also provide installation technical support to the station OI&T departments as needed. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contract Specialist no later than 07/15/2016 at 2:00 p.m. Responses should be sent to Mary.Bosch@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
