VA247-16-Q-0641 Food Service Equipment (Refrigerators - Ice Machine) The referenced Request for Quote (RFQ) posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov) has generated numerous questions from vendors. The answers to those questions are as follows: "Does the facility have a dock to accept deliveries? We do have a full dock located at the Warehouse entrance to our facility. "Is the equipment to be installed on the first floor? If not, is an elevator able to be used? The equipment will be installed on the first floor, near the warehouse. "Will the equipment fit through all the doorways into the kitchen? We do have a double door leading to the kitchen, thus facilitating ease of installation. "Will the installer need to remove and dispose of the existing equipment or will the owner do this? We have strict codes and reports that must be maintained in reference to disposal of Freon, etc. For that reason, the Government will be responsible for removal and disposal of the existing equipment. The vendor is required to make contact with the Government POC after award to schedule delivery and installation. The Government will ensure coordination for removal/installation of the equipment when the vendor representatives are scheduled to arrive. "The Traulsen units are requested with a clear (glass) door. This is a roll-thru unit and they can only do one of the doors glass, not both. We will accept only one glass door if that is the case. Please ensure manuals and specification sheets are included for all units. "This is a specialty item so may require more than the requested 30 day lead time. How do we propose if that is the situation? If an item cannot be provided in the requested time frame, please annotate the total number of days for delivery to our facility.
