Solicitation # W912DR-16-T-0043 Bid Schedule - TMTB Drill Rig This requirement is for supplies for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District's Field Exploration Unit (FEU). This a firm fixed-price purchase order for the purchase of commercial supplies to include: Fabrication, 1-Year Warranty, and Training for a new Track Mount Tilt Bed Drill Rig The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District Field Exploration Unit (FEU) performs critical in-house drilling services, requires information on procuring a drill rig. The FEU is requesting a new Track-Mount Tilt-Bed Drill Rig be built to replace an aging track mount tilt bed drill rig. The track mount tilt bed rig will be utilized to perform drilling on steep embankments often associated with dam and levee evaluations. The ability to access locations along steep embankments is critical to performing in-house services within the North Atlantic Division as well as Corps-wide. The two features which make this rig ideal for steep embankment access are the track mounted and tilt bed capabilities. The track mounted capabilities allow the rig to easily maneuver over tough, rocky terrain.
