- Draft SOW This announcement is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) will hold an Industry Day conference on 04 August 2016 at the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum - Mary Bonin Room located at 1 Garnett Way, Keyport, WA 98345. The event will begin at 0830 and end at 1600 PST. The conference will be hosted by NAVSEA Headquarters SEA 024 Contracts Division for the purpose of discussing the Navy's plan for Pacific Northwest (PNW) CVN Private Sector Maintenance for FYs 19-24. The industry day will begin with a discussion and overview of the future CVN Private Sector Maintenance contract for homeported and visiting ships in the PNW area. This contract will address all aspects of performing non-nuclear maintenance on both CVN-68 Class and CVN-78 Class ships for the 5 year period of FY19 through FY24, including but not limited to, pre-priced work items, the accomplishment of the Inter-availability Planning and Administration (IAPA) function on a continuous basis for an estimated 175 Work Items, over a twelve (12) month period, for non-nuclear work performed during scheduled Continuous Incremental Availabilities (CIAs), Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAVs), Emergent Maintenance (EM), and Window of Opportunities (WOOs) by the Prime Contractor. After the presentation, the Navy will allow for one-on-one sessions in the afternoon for those companies interested. Companies interested in participating in this one-on-one session shall notify Mr. John Anderson, via email, at john.anderson6@navy.mil. The Government has provided the following information as an attachment to this Industry Day Announcement: The draft solicitation statement of work for the Planning Yard Contract. NAVSEA requests that firms interested in attending the CVN Private Sector Maintenance Industry Day submit company names and attendee lists no later than 2PM EST, 22 July 2016 via e-mail to Ms. Michaella Easley, Contracting Officer, ( Michaella.Easley@navy.mil ) and Mr. John Anderson, Contract Specialist ( john.anderson6@navy.mil ). The subject line of the RSVP email shall be limited to: Industry Day RSVP from (Company Name). The body of the email shall include each attendee's name, Position/Title, email address, phone number, and indicate whether they have a Common Access Card (CAC) or military ID. Companies are asked not to send more than two representatives as seating may be limited. Firms are also encouraged to submit any questions via email to Ms. Michaella Easley and Mr. John Anderson no later than 22 July 2016, in order for the briefing to be as informative as possible. This Special Notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract or order.
