- N00164-16-R-JQ73 - SOLE SOURCE - PROCUREMENT AND REPAIR OF CAMERAS FOR THE MULTI SPECTRAL TARGETING SYSTEM (MTS) - FSC 5999, 6720, 5821, 1270 - NAICS 334220 Anticipated Issue Date 13 JUN 2016 - Anticipated Closing Date 15 AUG 2016 - 2:00 PM EST The Government anticipates awarding a 5-year, Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the procurement and repair of cameras on a sole source basis to: Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corporation, 1600 Commerce Street, Boulder, CO, 80301-2734 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". The basis for restricting competition was the lack of sufficient technical data, restricted software rights, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. This procurement is to provide the repair and replenishment or procurement cameras, PNs 309400-503 and 309400-504 as incorporated and qualified components in MTS systems. This procurement is for a maximum of $8,300,000. The FOB point shall be FOB destination: NSWC Crane. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corporation through electronic mail. The proposed noncompetitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, contracting by negotiations. The anticipated contract action award date is 24 NOV 2016. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
