- Half Size Plans Full Size Plans Solicitation / Specs Solicitation posted --------------------------------------------------------------- Lock and Dam 7 Sheet Pile Installation Project Lock and Dam 7 is located on the main stem of the Mississippi River at river mile 702.5, above the mouth of the Ohio, on the Minnesota side just upstream of La Crescent, MN. The project includes driving two parallel rows of sheet pile upstream of the auxiliary miter gates and filling in this area with material. This work is being done in order to form a damming surface upstream of the existing auxiliary miter gates. This project will also include the installation of timber fenders on the upstream side of the sheet pile cell. Hand railing will be installed on both the upstream and downstream sides of the sheet pile cell. A seepage cutoff will be formed by injecting grout into the foundation soils adjacent to the river wall and intermediate wall sheet pile tie in. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, and material to complete the contract requirements. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code for the proposed project is 237990 with a SB size standard of $36.5 million. This is general construction, per FAR 52.219-14 the contractor shall perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract with its own employees. This solicitation is 100% SB set-aside.
