- Draft PWS - Cross Dock/Transportation THIS IS A DRAFT SOLICITATION, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Logistics Management Division (LMD) intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) seeking firms with experience in the area of providing Transportation and Cross Dock Operation Services. This is a full and open competition. FEMA anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract with a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods to begin on or about September 26, 2016. Option years will be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12 Acquisition of Commercial Item and FAR Subpart 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS): 488510 The solicitation will be posted at https://www.fbo.gov/ website during the month of August. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunity website for the issuance of the final solicitation and amendments to the solicitation. All prospective Offerors shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Attached is a DRAFT of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) the Government anticipates issuing with the Request for Proposal (RFP). This PWS draft is subject to change and does not represent the final version of the Government's anticipated requirement.
