- Description
- This notice is a Notice of Intent (NOI). The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Dataworks Development Inc. for the purchase of a software maintenance for FreezerWorks customer care program client server, testing module, web services and 1 client server. This announcement constitutes the only notice; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and FAR 13.106-1 Circumstances permitting other than full and open competition. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-88 June 16, 2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210, Software Publishers, with a small business size standard of $38,500,000.00. Dataworks Development Inc. is small business for this code. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure on a sole source basis from Dataworks Development Inc. an annual maintenance of the FreezerWorks Software. This software is proprietary to the Manufacture Dataworks Development Inc. The Software is required for scientific data sample storage and sample analysis results. Maintenance Plan includes: Maintenance plan renewal period will be 8/4/16 through 8/3/17 and includes one year of software updates to the customer care program client server, testing module, web services and 1 client server. This Maintenance Plan will install, authorize and support the following applications for the FreezerWorks software. Place of Performance: NIH, 5640 Fishers Lane, United States. FOB: Destination The government intends to a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor as a result of this notice of intent will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. The award will be based on the following; capability to meet the requirements, delivery, price and the best value to the government.
