- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Ft. Stewart, GA has a requirement for a firm fixed price, to Replace Gates on HAAF Flight line and is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing the services required. The work will be performed at Hunter Army Airfield (Savannah) Georgia. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment in performance of all operations required in connection with FFP Gate Replacement contract. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1.1 Work to be executed: The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with Replace 5 Gates on HAAF Flight line complete in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items: 1.1.1 Remove five cantilever slide gates from locations indicated on the drawings. 1.1.2 Remove three gate posts at Bldg. 823. 1.1.3 Remove three linear feet of fence fabric at the Bldg. 823 gate. 1.1.4 Remove five card readers and card reader bases. 1.1.5 Install five new cantilever slide gates and hardware. 1.1.6 Install five new card readers and card reader bases. 1.1.7 Connect card readers to existing access control system. 1.1.8 Mill 14 square yards of asphalt at the Bldg. 8005 gate a depth of two inches. 1.1.9 Install an asphalt hump in a 14 square yard area at the Bldg. 8005 gate. 1.1.10 Install five gate operators with all accessories. During the contract period, job scoping will be held to identify estimated line items quantities required to complete each specific job and individual task orders will be issued. The contract period will be for a maximum of 45 day. This is not a Request for Proposals, but instead a research method to determine interested sources prior to issuing the solicitation. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain an indication of interest of all businesses, determine any interest from the small business community, and obtain voluntary limited capability information of those interested sources. A determination by the Government on the method of competing this requirement has not been made. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought notice, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. We are not requesting technical/management proposals. If you are an interested source please provide the following voluntary information 1). Company name and point of contact; 2). DUNS number and CAGE Code; 3). Small Business Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOB, etc.) If applicable; and 4). A brief Capability Statement (no more than 10 pages) which demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements specified in the Scope of Work, items 1 -2.2.2., and include and Past Performance information on Government contracts of similar size and scope. NAICS code is 238290, Automatic Gate Installation Contractors with a size standards of $36,500,000. Electronic responses will be accepted, no hard copy documents will be accepted. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriate marking information if it is proprietary in nature.
