- Statement of work SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SUPPORT INTRODUCTION The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is conducting market research for the structural engineering support at AFRC. NASA AFRC is seeking capability statements from interested vendor who can demonstrate their company's ability to perform the required tasks of the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Interested vendors who believe they can perform the structural engineering support services described in the SOW should submit a capability statement that describes their company's abilities in detail. It is not sufficient to provide only general brochures or generic information. The capability statement must address each task identified in the SOW and demonstrate your company's ability to perform that task. The statement (including any attachments) must not exceed 15 pages in length and the font size shall not exceed 12 points. Please submit the capability statement electronically, via e-mail, to the point of contact (POC) listed below, no later than 5:00p.m PT, July 29, 2016. Please reference "NND16585653L" in any response, including your submittal. Information received in response to this sources sought notice will be used for market research only and should not be viewed as NASA's intent to solicit quotes. If NASA decides a requirement exist and there is a need to solicit for this requirement, NASA will solicit the requirements using a method of solicitation defined within the FAR and NASA FAR Supplement. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS The capability statement should include the following information: Your company's point of contact, including name, e-mail address, mailing address and telephone number; Company's size standard/type classification and applicable NAICS code(s); DUNS number and cage code; and GSA Schedule Number; Supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate your company's ability to comply with the above requirements; Affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partnerships, potential teaming agreements, and any prime - subcontractors arrangements. Any questions you may have are to be submitted via e-mail to the primary POC listed below, NOT through the telephone number indicated. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information submitted in response to this synopsis.
