- SF1449 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M0026316T0044 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using the commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Source Selection procedures are in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 and DFARS Publication 20160630. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Mess Hall Supplies (brand name or equal). 0001 Rack, Can with removable shelves, 0002 Utility Cart, Stainless Steel, 0003 Rack, Bakery, Bun Pan, 0004 Transport/Utility Cabinet, 0005 Round Brute Container, 0006 Flat Lid For Round Brute Container, 0007 Rack, Dunnage, Mobile w/handle, 0008 Handle For Mobile Dunnage Racks. This solicitation is an 100% Total Small Business set aside, and the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337127 with a size standard of 750. A Nonmanufacturer Rule Class Waiver exists for this NAICS. All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in SF 1449 M0026316T0044 attached to this synopsis. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotes in accordance with FAR Part 12 and additional instructions, conditions, and notices to offerors provided in the attached Section L of the SF1449. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer, or complete the Reps and Certs in the System for Award Management(SAM) and reference SAM completion in quote. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. All other additional contract requirement for this acquisition can be found in the attached SF 1449 The basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The closing date and time for this solicitation is July 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM Eastern. Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received and is legible. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award; however, the Government reserves the right to issue multiple awards. Any offer, modification, revision, or withdrawal of an offer received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is "late" in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). The written submission must arrive by the stated deadline in order for a proposal to be considered complete and to be evaluated. There is a 5 MB size limitation on email attachments. Failure of any portion of the proposal to arrive by the stated deadline will result in rejection of the entire proposal.
