Description
1.0 Background The purpose of this Statement of Work is to procure the software and services offered by VascuPro to implement in the Vascular Lab at the Phoenix VA Health Care System. VascuPro is a lab automation software and workflow solution that will enhance patient throughput and improve efficiency in the lab. Currently in the Vascular lab, they are doing the procedure on the patient, the images are then printed off and scanned into the patient record. This process can take weeks and is very inefficient. This has been the only method available for the physicians to have images from these types of procedure. The printed images are not diagnostics quality and resolution is not sufficient to base medical decisions on. With the use of a vascular automation software there will be zero errors in patient records (when pulling worklist, because it eliminates manual entry), and images are directly imported (digitally) into the patient record. What would take weeks will now take minutes. This will increase patient throughput a hundredfold and the quality of the images will be greatly improved. Physicians will also have access to archived images that can be for historical reference or consultation with other physicians. In accordance with Appendix A, Handbook 6500.6 Checklist blocks 7, the C&A requirements do apply to this requirement, and Security Accreditation Package is required. The nature of this requirement is technical, in reference to no. 7, there is information to be protected. There are hard drives that store PHI/PII/II and the vendor may see the data within the server. Any potential data that can be seen is all covered by a Business Associate Agreement with Consensus Medical and the VHA. The period of performance will be 120 days after receipt of award. 2.0 Tasks: 2.1VascuPro Specifications 1.Acquisition of images and data of vascular studies from Duplex and/or physiologic equipment of vascular lab. 2.VascuPro will process incoming DICOM worklist from PACS, and post Final Report for DICOM encapsulation/transmission to PACS. 3.Client will need Worklist Client, Storage Server, and Storage Client for Final Report DICOM only. 4.Duplex and physiologic equipment will be interfacing sending images to PACS directly 5.Enhance the communication between lab staff and streamline the process of interpreting vascular studies. 6.Provide robust quality assurance system that can validate the diagnostic criteria of the vascular lab and suggest modifications to enhance the overall diagnostic accuracy based upon analysis of validated anatomical segments. The QA system should also calculate IAC accreditation requirements. 7.Establish training system of interpreting vascular studies. The training system should analyze and monitor the progress of new technologist and fellows over time. 8.Provide instant analysis of lab studies data to meet research requirement. 9.Must include noninvasive vascular lab module. 10.DICOM interface with PACS utilizing standard Q/R DICOM protocol. 11.Interface with noninvasive vascular lab equipment to acquire images and study data from Duplex and/or physiologic equipment. 12.System customization. 13.Onsite training. 14.VascuPro Software database and 5 concurrent user licenses 15.DICOM MWL server 16.Extended Audit database system 17.Extended annual database maintenance and unlimited free future software upgrades 3.0 Travel Requirements: Travel and lodging costs to be covered by the contractor. 3.1 Delivery and Shipping Information: The contractor shall provide the following for shipment and delivery of equipment: All items and services shall be shipped or contact to the following location: Attention: Biomedical Engineering 650 E.
