- PWS The Office of the Mission and installation Contracting Center - Fort Sam Houston (MICC-FSH) has a requirement for Acquisition Support Services. MICC-FSH is issuing this sources sought for industry to provide a short informal risk analysis of how the Government can mitigate the inherited risk for this requirement. It is not necessary for your company to provide your capabilities in response to this sources sought, as the Government intends to extend services under contract number is W560MY-13-D-0009, which expires on 20 September 2016. The period of performance will be extended by 12 months from 21 September 2016 to 20 September 2017. If your company is interested in the follow-on contract please indicate in your response to this sources sought. This requirement is to provide personal services necessary to perform Acquisition Support as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) throughout the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Performance of this contract will take place in Afghanistan. The Expeditionary Contracting Command-Afghanistan provides operational contracting support for vital supplies, services and construction to the U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, and throughout the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR), and Other Government Agencies in a manner that supports the direct mission of operational Coalition Forces in the relief and reconstruction of Afghanistan. The mission drives capacity building and economic self-sufficiency within the Afghan Ministries in order to build and sustain self-sufficient security forces and help promote economic self-sufficiency within the CENTCOM AOR. The Contractor shall perform to the standards attached, in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The results of this sources sought will contribute to determining how the Government can mitigate risk associated with this requirement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541611. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. The Government's request for risk analysis does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this announcement is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Submission Instructions: Please submit a short informal risk analysis based on the PWS for the 12-month extension or indicate if you are interested in the follow-on contract by 12pm 25 Jun 16 (Central Time). All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Maria Cachola, at maria.d.cachola.civ@mail.mil. All emails shall have the subject line titled "Contract Acquisition Support Services (CASS): Response to Sources Sought Notice." Proximity to the customer is critical in this theater. This acquisition support will primarily be required on-site in Afghanistan. Additional contingency locations worldwide are possible. Due to the unique mission requirements and nature of the location(s) of performance of work under this contract, work can range from a typical 40 hour work week to over 75 hour work weeks. The Contractor shall coordinate with the requiring activity to meet location and government-specific requirements.
