- Description: Interested parties (non-traditional performers, start-ups, etc.) are hereby invited to participate in an Industry Day session to be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 12:45 PM PDT (registration starts at 8:00) regarding the Other Transaction Solicitation (OTS) calls for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Capabilities HSHQDC-16-R-00114 and Enhancing CBP Airport Passenger Processing HSHQDC-16-R-00115 in support of the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Silicon Valley Innovation program (SVIP) and DHS Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The Industry Day session will be held at SRI International at 333 Ravenswood Avenue Menlo Park, CA 94025-3493. Registration for this event is required and is available at: https://regonline.com/DHS-SVIP-CBP2. To ensure participation from a broad number of organizations, DHS S&T SVIP may limit the number of attendees from each organization if we reach capacity. If this happens we will contact each organization to prioritize their attendees. Registration must be submitted no later than Thursday, July 27 at 7:00 PM PDT. Registration submissions using the above link will not be accepted after July 27th; however, onsite registration will be available the day of the event beginning at 8:00 AM. The Government will not compensate participants for travel, lodging or any other expenses associated with this event. The purpose of this Industry Day is to brief interested parties on the OTS topics - Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Capabilities and Enhancing CBP Airport Passenger Processing. IMPORTANT NOTICE--this notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services.
