Description
This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Letterkenny Army Depot is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Negative replies are also sought. Letterkenny Army Depot is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors to provide windows and windshields repairs and refurbishment services to the Buffalo A2 Route Clearance Vehicle (RCV) located within the facilities of Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD). In addition to the repairs and refurbishment, all windows and windshields shall be re-certified in accordance with the Automotive Tank Product Description(ATPD)2352. The anticipated Period of Performance is a 12-months Base Period and two 12-months Option Periods. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government will determine whether to issue a solicitation on a sole source basis, set-aside, or full and open competition. All contractors interested in supplying the requested parts may indicate their interest in this potential acquisition by providing responses that should include: (1) Identification of company size status, Cage Code, DUNS and certifications, i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, small business. (2) Proof of experience and capability to manufacture and/or supply the parts listed. (3) Indication of which North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts. For the purposes of this notice, the NAICS code is 336992 - Military Armored Vehicle, Tank and Tank Component Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,500 employees. If your firm is capable of the requirements described in this sources sought notice, please provide a Capability Statement to Ms. Sarah Munoz, sarah.munozmarquez2.civ@mail.mil by 29 July 2016, 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The Government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available.
