- This is the redacted Sole Source Justification, signed by the Contracting Officer. Attachments 1-10 to RFQ RFQ Form This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (www.fbo.gov). The RFQ number is N39040-16-T-0241. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-88 and DFARS Change Notice 20160630. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at the following address: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The NAICS code is 333515. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 333515 is 500 employees. This is a Sole Source (restricted) solicitation action to Illinois Tool Works, Inc. (a division of E.H. Wachs) due to the proprietary technical knowledge needed and the use of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts of existing custom-designed E.H. Wachs tooling. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from the qualified source capable of providing: in accordance with RFQ listed as Attachment 1 and its attachments 1-10, Specifications. Delivery on/before 1 September 2016. Place of Performance is Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. ITEM DESCRIPTION TOTAL COST E.H. Wachs Tooling in accordance with RFQ and its Attachments 1-10.
