- W912PM-16-B-0019 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract for the renovation of Building E-1930 to include 21,500+/- SF of interior CMU wall demolition, new layout configuration and new finishes. Select mechanical systems likely resized and replaced due to incoming user occupant loads. Communications and power service upgraded for expected incoming user requirements. Lighting and plumbing systems will be modernized. Sprinkler and fire alarm system will be upgraded and modernized. Exterior repairs such as roofing, masonry and sealants likely required. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules, applicable Directorate of Public Works (DPW) DPW Drawings, Unified Facilities Design Criteria (UFC), Fort Bragg Installation Design Guide (IDG), NFPA Standards, SOTF Standards and other contract documents The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about July 30th, 2016. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard of $36,500,000.00. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. After completing SAM, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov. In order to locate solicitation, Contractors can go to FedBizOpps and search for the solicitation number at www.fbo.gov.
