Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to post a request for quote for the purchase and installation of a refrigeration package to an existing freezer. The refrigeration package will allow the freezer to operate as both a freezer and refrigerator. The installation of this refrigeration package to the existing walk in freezer will allow the Great lakes CMOP to house such medications and dispense as needed to the Veterans. The current freezer package cannot be operated at refrigeration temperatures without risking serious damage or unit failure. The contractor shall provide all labor time and materials to install a turn-key complete refrigeration package in the existing walk in freezer. The controls for this unit should be separate from the current freezer package, with the capability to be turned on and off as needed in any ambient temperature. The normal operating temperature of the refrigeration package is 36-45 degrees F. The interior dimensions of the unit are 15'x50'. A site visit will be scheduled for vendors to gain a full understanding of the scope and area of work. This is a 100% set-aside for SDVOSB's only.
