- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) to support the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD). This is a new requirement. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be firm-fixed price type with a period of performance of twelve (12) months. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. The RFQ will be posted on FedBizOpps and is expected to be released on or about August 1, 2016. Interested parties are responsible for checking the website regularly for release of the RFQ and for other procurement-related documents. TELEPHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The information provided in this pre-solicitation is for information purposes only. If there are any differences in the information provided here and the actual solicitation when released, the information provided in the actual solicitation shall govern. The objective of this contract is to provide recommendations for ensuring sustainability of an evidence-based parenting program, CDC's Legacy for ChildrenTM model, in broader community-based implementation. The Contractor shall deliver reports with recommended solutions to three key barriers to broader uptake of Legacy (fidelity monitoring and certification, securing sufficient site resources to support sustainable implementation, and increasing capacity for training and technical assistance) modeled after best practices in the field. No standardized, systematic collection of new information will be involved. All inquiries must be in writing and sent to Liubov Kriel by email at vyh1@cdc.gov and reference solicitation # 2016-Q-65566 on the subject line. The Contracting Officer will not respond to verbal request. All requests must be in writing.
