- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research Development Center, Geospatial Research Laboratory has a requirement for enhancement, development, and training support of the Situational Awareness Geospatially Enabled (SAGE) tool set currently in use by the Distributed Common Ground System - Army program. The current support is being received through an Army Geospatial Center (AGC) contract that is due to expire 27 September 2016. This notice represents a proposed contract action for the continued SAGE support for an approximate six (6) month period of performance to avoid a lapse in service and provide adequate lead time to compete a support contract for a base year and multiple option years. The general tasks required under this contract will include: 1. SAGE Subject Matter Expertise to provide instructional sessions to sustain operational use of SAGE for mission analysis and planning. 2. SAGE Instructional Material Development and training for Foundries, Schoolhouses, and Units. 3. SAGE Tactical Decision Aid (TDA) Production to support the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield through development of new SAGE tools and software engineering of new models. 4. SAGE Application Testing Support for acceptance testing initiatives and continuous user feedback coordination for future programmatic modification. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990, which has a small business size standard of $15 million. Any capability statements received in response to this presolicitation notice will be used for market research purposes to aid in the Government's acquisition strategy. Responses to this notice shall be submitted NLT 5:00pm EST, 2 August 2016 to ashley.m.jenkins@usace.army.mil Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses to this notice will not be considered as a response to any solicitation, a request to be added to a prospective offerors list, or to receive a copy of any solicitation. Vendors are encouraged to add themselves to the Interested Vendors List and look for teaming opportunities. Note: In order to be eligible for award of a Government contract, vendors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have no active exclusions, and complete the FAR and DFARS representations and certifications.
