- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed price construction contract for the RE-ROOFING OF THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER CAB AT MOLOKAI AIRPORT(MKK), MOLOKAI, HAWAII. -Type of Contract: Firm, Fixed Price. -Davis Bacon Act wage rates apply. -Estimated value: $50,000 to $150,000 (base plus option). -OPTIONAL site visit: August 02, 2016 (see below). -Offers due: August 11, 2016. -NAICS Code: 238160 This is a small business set-aside. This procurement is being set aside exclusively for competition among Small Business concerns. Small businesses competing for this requirement shall certify their status on the Business Declaration form inserted following Section K. See Contract clause 3.6.1-1 in Part II, Section I. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238160 “ Roofing Contractors. Please note this code on your Business Declaration Form. DETAILS FOR ATTENDING THE OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There is one coordinated OPTIONAL site visit on TUESDAY, AUGUST 02, 2016 at 10:00am LOCAL TIME. a. The meeting point for the site visit: FAA Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) 3980 Airport Loop Hoolahua, HI 96729 Due to security reasons, to attend the site visit advance notice by e-mail is required by JULY 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM LOCAL TIME to the FAA POC identified just below. Email registration is preferred. You are required to provide your company name and representative(s) full name and contact phone number(s). There will be no substitutions or add-ons after the cutoff date. Questions may be submitted to the POC below, by 5:00 PM LOCAL TIME on August 05, 2016.
