Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability and potential qualifications of veteran owned small businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing). The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking veteran owned small business manufacturers, or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to the following: INSPEKTOR GI Flexible Scope Lumen Inspection System INSPEKTOR is a lumen and channel inspection system that provides visual confirmation of the cleanliness internally and externally of the instruments and endoscopes. Verification of cleanliness of RME is crucial in providing quality safe patient care thereby preventing infection. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1000 Employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on June 22, 2016.
