Provide all aspects of planning and execution of field tests with an integrated Laser Weapon System (LWS) utilizing Government supplied or Industry supplied technology components with emphasis on flight testing on Government selected aircraft at on-site and off-site locations that meet mission needs, including all required personnel, instrumentation, data recording capability, laser safety, flight safety, and scheduling to accomplish mission requirements. 2. Accomplishing any required integration of a LWS and associated subcomponents onto specified demonstration platforms at on-site or off-site locations, including development and evaluation of any interface requirements unique to the LWS or platform of interest; and, as needed, the development or modification of tracking algorithms required for target sets of interest. 3. Integrating and evaluating existing or newly developed technology or subcomponents of interest to the Government that can enhance the overall performance of an existing LWS in ground-based field demonstrations or on platforms specified by the Government, including assessment of requirements for airworthiness for enhancement capabilities of interest. 4. Measuring, characterizing, and validating the performance of a LWS during initial laboratory and outdoor propagation testing, with an emphasis on leveraging these results into optimized follow-on flight testing.
