Description

Synopsis: This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Cross Match Technologies, Inc. 3950 RCA Blvd 5001 Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410-4227 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed sole source action is for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the procurement of (1) Guardian USB finger print scanner and associated software and software configuration. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, a vendor that believes it that it can meet the requirements herein may give written notice to the Contracting Officer not later than 22 July 2016. All inquiries and concerns must be sent by email to Joel Lewis at joel.lewis@socom.mil. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Response to this sole source notice is not required.
