Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst Contracts Office intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to AAI Corporation (cage code: 97384), Hunt Valley, MD on a sole source basis for a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the period of five (5) years. The purpose of the BOA, and all subsequent orders placed under it, is to procure Repair of Repaiables (RORs) service for the Joint Service Electronic Combat System Tester (JSECST) end item Core Test Set (CTS) AN/USM-670 and -670A, CTS components, and Test Program Interface Hardware (TPIH) ancillary to the Core Test Set in support of the US Navy, US Air Force, and all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) communities that utilize the JSECST assets. AAI Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the JSECST AN/USM-670 and -670A. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
