Description

SYNOPSIS FOR RFQ #AG-9AB5-S-16-0055 The purpose of this contract is to cut and bundle dead and dying hazardous trees along Forest Service roads and private property boundaries. Designated trees will be mechanically or hand felled, skidded to roadside landing locations and bundled for disposal by Forest Service. Trees that are designated for cutting are all dead or dying trees with no visible green needles (or leaves) that are within 1.5 tree lengths of National Forest System roads or private property boundaries. The Forest Service highly recommends a site visit prior to bidding to ensure complete knowledge of site conditions and the difficulty of operations. The estimated contract time is 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Estimated start work date is TBD This project is being issued 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.
