Kingsbridge Road - Rm: 9b16 Bronx, NY 10468 Synopsis: Please note this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center (Bronx, NY) is currently conducting market research for development of gerischolars website learning management system and 508 compliance services. The vendor shall design and implement design changes with new colors, styles to the existing overall design, with at least 2 feedbacks sessions with GRECC service; shall develop and install a resource tool with ability to filter and sort various resources; shall develop and install a calendar page for upcoming events; shall develop and install one project specific landing page in Virtual Learning Community (VLC) homepage; shall install and configure the search functionality on the VLC; shall provide and maintain a testing environment for the VLC; shall provide online training to GRECC service on VLC development as needed; shall provide services in Senior Learning Management Systems and e-Learning Systems Architect Development and updates of the VLC is crucial in providing the most up to date training to VA workforce to providing care for Veterans throughout the United States, especially hard to reach rural area where providers have difficulties accessing educational opportunities to provide clinical care for rural Veterans. This will be for an existing Virtual Learning Community program based at the GRECC-which is a VA workforce development project. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 541519. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via (email) and must be received not later than July 27th at 10:00AM. Email: Josie.Tuitt@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and socio-economic category. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov ). A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
