- Synopsis 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date: Issued 08 AUGUST 2016, Closes 06 September 2016 2. RFP#: FA8121-16-Q-0013 3. PR#: FD2030-16-02047 4. Spares: Firm Fixed Price Contract 5. Nomenclature/Noun: Tube Assembly, Metal 6. NSN: 4710-01-317-6082NZ 7. PN: 4069160 8. Description: The tube is part of the #4 bearing area; it provides a return path for the oil returning back to the oil tank. Internal in the diffuser case. 9. Application (Engine or Aircraft): F100 Engine 10. AMC: 1 / C 11. First Article Test: Yes 12. Quantity: Firm Fixed Quantity: 3ea. Requested delivery of 2ea for production and 1ea to be expended for a total quantity of 3 to be fulfilled. 13. Destination: Ship to DGR002 14. Required Delivery: Ship 2ea to DGR002 and 1ea to be expended and condemned to complete the contract. Condemned quantity will remain at contractor's facility. Early delivery is acceptable. 15. Set-aside: 100% Small Business set-aside 16. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests(SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 17. Export Control: No 18. Mandatory Language: All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
