- THIS IS AN INFORMATION NOTICE ONLY - NO AWARD WILL BE MADE FROM THIS NOTIFICATION. This is an announcement that the Government intends to exercise an option against existing Contract Number HC1019-15-F-2028 for continued Building Automation System (BAS) monthly maintenance services. The total amout of the option is $14,312.60 covering the period 1 September 2016 through 31 August 2017. CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY FULL TEXT: 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 2000) (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 66 months. (End of clause) MODIFICATION P00002 1. The Government hereby exercises Option Period One: 1 Sep 2016 through 31 Aug 2017,in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (MAR 2000). 2. Contract Line Item Number 1001 is hereby exercised. 3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
