- This is not a pre-solicitation notice. THIS IS A SOLICITATION REQUESTING QUOTATIONS FOR A CONTRACTOR REPLACE ROOF OF VISITOR CENTER At Nez Perce National Historical Park. Roofing includes removal of all the old Hypalon roofing membrane, damaged flashing, damaged pipe flashing, existing drip edge, and associated materials. Remove rubbish and debris without damage to the existing structure and landscape components below. Dispose of materials in the most safe and sustainable way possible. Contractor will be responsible for all measurements and material quantities in order to cover the roof in its entirety. Properly clean and prepared for installation of roofing membrane. Protect building interior including furnishings, exhibits, electronics, and staff from the weather at all times. Finish a new roof made of 60 mil Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane roofing system mechanically attached. Seal TPO membrane around the existing pipes, protrusions, and edge metal. Install a new prefinished 24 gauge metal drip edge at the perimeter of the roof. Contractor will provide a 20 year labor and material warranty. It is the responsibility of the contractor to fully understand the intended scope of work and to include all elements of the work as a part of the submitted quote. Refer to Section J for the complete list of attachments that includes the price schedule and all other terms, provisions, and clauses, project requirements, statement of work, specifications, and Dept. of Labor construction wage rates for Nez Perce County, Idaho, etc. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS, EMAIL REQUESTS, OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. In the event that competitive quotes are not received for this solicitation, an offeror may be required to submit cost and pricing data or information other than cost and pricing data. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.502-2. The NAICS code is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with an associate small business size standard of $15 million. Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the FBO website to download all amendments and attachments which may also be issued against the solicitation prior to the solicitation's closing date.
