This synopsis serves as an announcement of the forthcoming acquisition. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Services (PBS), Greater Southwest Region 7 intends to solicit proposals for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Support Services for three (3) federal facilities in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The facilities include a Federal Building of approximately 670,732 square feet; a United States Courthouse of approximately 119,274 square feet; and a Federal Parking Garage of approximately 460,762 net cleaning square feet. Offerors will be expected to provide operations, maintenance, management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies for the facilities. Additionally the offerors shall be responsible for the efficient, economical, and satisfactory operation, the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and the repair of equipment. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.14, this potential acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The size standard is $38.5 million. The majority contract type will be Firm Fixed-Price for basic monthly services with and Indefinite Quantity provision for additional services. The solicitation number is GS-07P-16-JU-7006. The projected basic performance period is from 01 January 2017 to 31 December 2017, with four one-year option periods (01 January 2018 to 31 December 2021). FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will be included in the solicitation to add up to six additional months, if needed. The current O&M contract is due to expire 31 December 2016. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in a timely manner, the Government may require the current Contractor to continue performance for additional periods up to six (6) more months under the FAR Clause 52.217-8. The solicitation will be released approximately 01 July 2016. The pre-proposal conference/site visit and the deadline for questions will be noted in the solicitation. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will only be publicized through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies and/or electronic mail of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances. Prospective offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database for award of a contract. Registration can be accomplished electronically at www.sam.gov.
