Announcement of Industry Day to be conducted on Thursday August 25, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time (CDST) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK. Anticipated NAICS: 541513 (Computer Systems Facilities Management and Operation Services) Size Standard: $25 million BACKGROUND: The Enterprise Services Center's (ESC) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) requirements are currently being supplemented by contractor services support under incumbent contract DTFAAC-11-D-00023. The ITSS service areas of the ESC have a continuing requirement for issuance of a follow-on contract to provide IT services for the MMAC, FAA, DOT, and other Federal agencies. IT services to be provided include, but are not limited to the following: - ESC Information Security Services Security Assessments, Scanning, and Reporting - ESC Operations Management Services Remedy Administration and Reporting Application Administration Middle Tier Administration Database Administration Backup Storage Area Network Administration - ESC Engineering & Solution Delivery Services Enterprise Architecture Change Management Analysis and Solution Design Program Specifications Software Development Quality Assurance and Testing Business Analysis - Academy Regulatory Standards Mobile Technology Support Flight Training Device Support Classroom Audio/Visual Display Support Server Administration and Computer Maintenance Backup and Storage Administration Problem Analysis and Resolution - Supply Chain Management and Logistics Support Systems and Functional Analysis Software and Database Development/Enhancements System Integration and Administration Telecommunications Systems Technical Support Project Management Contractor-provided personnel have historically included, but are not limited to the following: -Programmer -Web Developer -Data Base Administrator -System Administrator -IT Security -Project Manager -Office Automation -Functional Analyst -Information Engineer -Computer Operator -Technical Typist PURPOSE: The purpose of this Industry Day announcement is to solicit all firms interested in obtaining additional information regarding this opportunity. The Industry Day will also allow interested firms the opportunity to network. Historically, this requirement has not been set-aside. Attendance is encouraged for all interested firms. This Special Notice is being issued to "Save the Date." A DRAFT Performance Work Statement will be posted to this announcement prior to the Industry Day to provide an opportunity for vendor review and comment. INDUSTRY DAY LOCATION: SEE MAP ATTACHMENT Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) (Bldg 13) - Auditorium 6500 South MacArthur Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73169 REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS & PERSONNEL LIMITATIONS: Advance registration is required and seating is limited. Therefore, each firm is limited to no more than two (2) attendees. To attend the Industry Day, the following information must be sent via e-mail to the Point of Contact (POC) and Alternate POC not later than August 19, 3:00 p.m. (CDST) in order to be added to the attendees list: - Attendee Name(s) - Position/Title - Name of company or organization represented SECURITY AND CHECK-IN INFORMATION: Each attendee must bring a current, valid government-issued U.S. citizen's picture identification (such as a valid driver's license), and all attendees shall be required to walk through a metal detector screening device at the Visitor Center/Security Building (Bldg. 230) main gate entrance (6501 Mike Monroney Blvd.). ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE REGISTERED BY AUGUST 19th TO BE AUTHORIZED FOR CHECK IN AT THE VISITOR'S CENTER AND PROCEED TO THE INDUSTRY DAY VENUE. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF ATTENDEES ARRIVING AND POTENTIAL TRAFFIC CONGESTION AT THE MAIN GATE, ATTENDEES ARE ADVISED TO ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 TO 2 HOURS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE INDUSTRY DAY PROCEEDINGS IN ORDER TO CHECK IN, PROCESS THROUGH SECURITY, TRAVEL THROUGH THE MMAC CAMPUS, PARK VEHICLES, AND ARRIVE TIMELY AT THE INDUSTRY DAY VENUE. SEE ATTACHED FILE WITH MAP OF THE MMAC. All questions regarding this requirement must be sent via e-mail to the POC or Alternate POC only. NOTE; This Industry Day is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal, nor as a contract or commitment of any kind, nor as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these services. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Costs of travel shall not be reimbursed to attendees, and there is no entitlement to payment by the FAA of direct or indirect costs or charges that are incurred as a result of submission of responses to this Industry Day announcement and/or attendance to the Industry Day event. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
