- A notice of intent to sole source synopsis (special notice) will be posted on FBO to notify the public of the government's intent to make a sole source award for the CLINICAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT( CID) at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP). This sole source award is for live Yorkshire pigs that the department has deemed necessary for proper training labs. This award is based upon the surgeon's training requirements and safe traveling distance for the pigs.. The supplies are very specific to the mission being performed and are what is required for CID to satisfy its mission at NMCP. Any deviation from the specifications of these products will increase risk to the MISSION and is unacceptable to the Government.Sole source documents are attached to special notice.
