- Request for Quotes in regards to our Jack - Bomb Trailer Requirement. Request for Information (RFI): This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The 325th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors capable of providing a 1) Air-Tow Trailer - Model UT12-7 - 7,000 lbs. capacity. Deck Size - 75" x 12' tandem axle with electric brakes - 15" wheels fully automatic self-adjusting, air suspension. 2) 12v electric winch 9,000 lbs. with 10ft remote. 3) 24" removable tailgate. 4/5) Pintle hitch, pole connector upgrade for bobtail connection. No service required. According to AFI 91-203 Paragraph 24.13.7.2 Wheeled AGE/maintenance equipment shall have brakes set, if available, or chocked. Since the jacks do not have brakes. We follow the following paragraph on the MXG QA Flash. "When tripod jacks are not in use outdoors, or are on the ready line; maintainers will adhere to AFI 91-203 paragraph 24.5.4 and 24.13.7.2 as stated above. Jacks will be secured on a chocked or braked trailer while not in use, as chocking tripod jacks is not practical. Tripod jacks located inside building do not need to be trailered, as wind and engine blast are not factors."
