- J&A 6.302-1 Contracting Office Address: Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, NAVAIR HQ, Building 2272, 47123 Buse Road, IPT Building, Room #256, Patuxent River, MD 20670 Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD awarded a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification (P00007) under Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract N00019-15-D-5501 to Rockwell Collins, Inc. (RCI), 400 Collins RD NE, Cedar Rapids, IA., 52498 for additional commercial AN/ARC-210(V) Electronic Protection (EP) ancillary equipment. The AN/ARC-210 is fielded on USN/USMC, US Army, USAF, USCG, DOD, FMS and Federal agency airborne, seaborne and land based platforms. This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
