- Description
- The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) intends to execute a six (6) month sole source extension to the existing Operation, Maintenance, Instrumentation and Analysis Support for Railroad Research (OMIA) IDIQ Contract Number DTFR53-10-D-00002 with ENSCO, Inc., under the authority of 41 U.S.C. § 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302.1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" [48 C.F.R. 6.302-1 (2015)]. Therefore, the Government intends to extend the current contract for six months (September 2016 through February 2017).
