- Solicitation FA8532-16-R-0006. Anticipated solicitation issue date will be 9 Aug 2016 and anticipated response date will be 30 days thereafter, e.g. 8 Sep 2016. Interim Contractor Support (ICS) for sustainment of the T-38C Ejection Seats Upgrade Program (ESUP). Associated items: NSN: 1680-99-134-9534, P/N MBEU200027 NSN: 1680-99-213-1688, P/N MBEU205146 NSN: 1680-99-551-5983, P/N MBEU205010 NSN: 1680-99-562-6745, P/N MBEU205145 NSN: 1680-99-574-0452, P/N MBEU200282-1 NSN: 1680-99-695-3410, P/N MBEU201010 NSN: 1680-99-789-9650, P/N MBEU205009 NSN: 1680-99-958-2695, P/N MBEU200425-1 A US16T repair and engineering services reach back is required to support Air Education and Training Command (AETC) T-38C overall mission requirements (for example, flight preparation related to Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training, Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals, Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training, Fixed Wing Qualification, and Pilot Instructor Training). Additionally, the US Navy and AFMC use the T-38C for test, test support, and test pilot training. This requirement is for engineering services and repair of components for the US16T ejection seats per MBA-SYS-SP-200407. This acquisition will cover all requirements for sustainment, engineering support and repair. All items repaired by the contractor shall be returned to the Government in the latest configuration. The contractor shall provide engineering assistance and support for US16T deficiencies and damages arising from Government maintenance, inspections, operations and mishaps. The Contractor shall provide engineering assistance and services for performing risk assessments, engineering studies, evaluations, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and modification leaflets as required. The contractor shall review and provide comprehensive engineering assistance and technical resolution for any field-level request. Period of Performance: Basic (one-year) plus four (4) additional one-year ordering periods. Electronic procedure will be used for this soliciation. The anticipated award date is 30 Sep 2016.
