- Description
- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USMRAA) on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) is conducting market research to identify any sources with the capability of providing iCRco, Inc. software, XScan 32 (manufacturer item code: 500-0112-28) pre-loaded on to laptop computers. These computers are needed as part of the repair to existing Computed Radiograph (CR) readers. These laptops with the XScan software will be utilized as part of the CR readers by triage medical units as portable standalone medical equipment in the field. These computers cannot operate off of the Windows 7 OS image commonly found on laptops such as Dell 7404 Latitude computers. To integrate with existing medical operating systems, the laptops specifically need to be loaded with software that will integrate with the triage mobile unit's image, capture, and review process and serve as an integrated part of the medical system network and the medical equipment it supports such as a Vertx computed radiograph scanner with single plate image capture. As the Government is seeking to purchase computers with pre-loaded software as part of the repair for medical equipment (CR readers), compatibility with this existing equipment is a requirement for this purchase. Therefore, this is a combined Sources Sought Notice (SSN) and Request for Information (RFI) only for the purposes of identifying any sources with the capability of providing the requested components that are compatible with the aforementioned CR readers. This SSN/RFI is open to both large and small businesses. The Government is seeking to identify qualified sources under NAICS code 511210 (size standard: $38.5 Million). Any interested parties should respond to the this SSN/RFI to provide the following information, via email to lisa.m.zarick.civ@mail.mil no later than 9:00 am Eastern Time, Monday, 1 August 2016. 1. Data or specification sheet that details the software, if different from the part number listed above. 2. Contact information of individual responding to this announcement. 3. Company name and CAGE code. All interested firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts. All responses received will be reviewed to identify any compatible software that can satisfy the Government's need. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations and no contract will be awarded from this SSN/RFI. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No hard copy responses or telephonic questions will be accepted.
