- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to provide plot inventory and stand examination data. It involves locating and establishing plots, measuring and recording trees, habitat types, and fuels data. Some plots will require vegetation data to be collected. The stand examination data provides information to help guide land manager's decisions. The scope of this contract is to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to conduct reliable timber stand examinations. The work performed and the data collected shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation and the current version of the Common Stand Exam Field Guide for Region 2. The Contractor's electronic data shall successfully transmit to the U.S.F.S. FSVEG System using the computer equipment on the GMUG National Forests. (a) The projects are located Forest Wide on the GMUG NF, with headquarters at 2250 Hwy 50, Delta, Colorado. The general project work area locations is shown on the attached vicinity maps. See Appendix B. (b) Individual stand locations will be delineated on Contract Stand Maps and will be provided to the contractor after award. Period of Performance will be for one year from notice to proceed. This is a Woman Owned Business Set Aside and will be evaluated as Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Solicitation will be posted on or about July 25, 2016.
