- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Firm Fixed-Price contract to procure three hundred (300) LG Electronics BluRay Players, Part Number BE14NU40. The equipment is required for the Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support System (RTCASS) Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Configuration. LG Electronics is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for this BluRay Player and as such is the specific brand name source capable of providing the required equipment. Period of Performance for the contract will be 30 days. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 334519. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (5) as cited in FAR 6.302-1(c) "Application for brand name descriptions." Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that may be used by the government for market research. A determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
