- Notice Type: Request for Information (RFI) This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is NOT a Request for Quote / Proposal. As part of market research, 18th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources capable of providing Emergency Communications Center (ECC) VESTA®9-1-1 system, Airbus DS Communications, Inc (Brand Name) to Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. This notice is issued to help determine which firms can provide the type of items described here. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The information received will be used by the Department of Defense (DOD), to facilitate the decision making process in determining the best method available for purchase of VESTA 9-1-1 system. Companies who are interested should respond electronically to Yayoi Iha via email at yayoi.iha.1.jp@us.af.mil by 12:00 noon JST on 29 July 2016. Include the following information: 1. Company name and address 2. Physical location of company 3. Point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email 4. CAGE code and DUNS number 5. Performance Work Statement of VESTA 9-1-1 project 6. What kind of information the Government have to provide to procure this requirement. 7. Any additional questions, comments, concerns, etc. Description of supplies/services: The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, shipping, safety equipment, and any other items and services necessary to provide alternate Emergency Communications Center (ECC) VESTA® 9-1-1 system, Airbus DS Communications, Inc (Brand Name) to Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. The system includes both a server and workstation and we require two workstations which include one CPU, one keyboard and one mouse per work station. The software support program should be included in the installation process. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices.
