Description

The purpose of this Request for Offer is to seek competent and qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, insurance, notifications, license, permits, fees and supervision necessary to Design, Fabricate, Deliver and Off Load of one (1) 12 ™Wide x 20 ˜Long steel/metal building in support of the Localizer at the Sacramento International Airport (SMF), in Sacramento, CA, in accordance with the specifications, contract clauses, terms, conditions and wage rates. This is a Small Business Set Aside. Small businesses competing for this acquisition shall certify their status on the Business Declaration form inserted following Part IV, Section K. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332311, Buildings, Prefabricated Metal, Manufacturing. All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Angela Furukawa at Angela.Furukawa@faa.gov. TELEPHONE QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The requestor shall provide a company name, point-of-contact name, address and telephone number; as well as a return e-mail address. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. SUBMIT OFFERS TO: SEE PART IV, SECTION L. OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. PACIFIC TIME (PT), August 16, 2016. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR OFFERS, THUS NO FORMAL BID OPENING WILL OCCUR AND RESULTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE BY TELEPHONE. DO NOT CALL FOR RESULTS. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and certified 8(a) contractors are encouraged to submit a request for this project. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
