Description

This is a Presolicitation Notice only. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). No responses are required with this notice. The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center (GVSMVAMC) has a requirement for Emergency Department Physicians that are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (no exceptions) and have current license, ACLS and BLS certifications. The GVSMVAMC is a Level IB Medical Facility with a Level III Emergency Department, operating 24/7 365 days a year. The Offeror is requested to have a minimum of fourteen (14) ER Physicians and no more than twenty (20) by contract start that meet this requirement and also carry Medical Liability Insurance ($1 million per occurrence). There will be time allowed for credentialing (4-8 weeks) and backgrounds. The NAICS code is 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) (size standard of $11.0 million). VA256-16-R-0762 formal solicitation shall be released to www.fbo.gov on or about August 9, 2016 with proposals due on or about September 8, 2016 and is a Full and Open Competition. Questions will not be accepted until the actual solicitation is released. Offerors should review the solicitation in its entirety before submitting questions. Questions should then be emailed to Richard.Edens@va.gov using "VA256-16-R-0762" in the subject line not-later-than August 29, 2016. Once that date has arrived, all questions will be provided answers and posted in an amendment that will also be released to www.fbo.gov. No telephone requests will be responded to; all questions must be in writing/email. Current Interim contract is provided for by the Incumbent, Medicus Healthcare Solutions, LLC. Again, as stated above, any request for information/questions received will be responded to after August 9, 2016. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. End of Document
